Have you ever walked into a room and felt like something was just off? Maybe you made a beeline for the door.😳 You may have been sensing energetic residue from a negative experience that occurred in the same space. This is why it is very important to have regular energetic cleansing and grounding practices for your aura or energy field, as well as for your home or workspace.
One way to clear energy in your body is through a meditation practice called grounding. You can physically ground yourself by walking outside and putting your feet or body directly on the Earth. Or you can energetically ground yourself through visualization. Here is my go to grounding visualization:
✨ Imagine there is a golden cord connected to the base of your spine. This golden cord penetrates the floor beneath your feet and moves directly into the Earth. It flows all the way to the center of the Earth where it wraps around an enormous Quartz crystal which is at the center of the Earth. It wraps around the Quartz crystal and connects you to Mother Earth. This cord allows to you release anything you have been holding onto, anything that isn't yours, anything you are ready to let go of can be released into Mother Earth where it can be absorbed and transmuted. You are grounded, you are connected to Mother Earth.
After a grounding practice, I will then visualize cleansing my energy with another meditation using a pillar of white light to clear my aura:
✨ I am surrounded by a golden bubble of light which is my aura. A pillar of white light fills my energy field. This pillar of light protects me from the thoughts, feelings, emotions, energies, expectations and bullshit of other people and only allows in what is for my highest and greatest good. I am grounded, I am protected.
This visualization practice is one way to clear your personal energy field but there are many other methods. Another favorite of mine is smudging with sacred herbs such as white sage or palo santo. When cleansing the energy of your home it is important to open the windows and doors in order to allow for the energy to move out of the home.
My practice for smudging is to light my sage and use a feather to move the smoke into every corner of my home while using this mantra: ✨ I cleanse the energy of this home, I release everything that is not my own, and I welcome only positive energy into my home. I always feel noticeably lighter energy in my space after this practice.
Another way to cleanse the energy of your space is with Selenite crystal. A Selenite crystal is the ultimate energy tool to purify, clear, cleanse, and uplift your home, plus everyone and everything in it. The Selenite crystal is all about purification, clearing, and positive energy. The soft white appearance of the stone is a perfect reflection of its gentle but highly effective energy, which emits white light and high vibrations.
The crystal properties have been referred to as “liquid light” because Selenite allows for liquid-like energy fluidity. Its extremely high vibration floods your energy field with the highest vibrations of light, uplifting your spirit and guiding you to an elevated state of being.
My favorite way to use Selenite is with a beautiful Selenite Skyscraper Lamp in my living room and also my meditation space. It is not only beautiful, but a functional tool to keep the energy of your home clean and clear. I also use my Shungite and Selenite Cylinder harmonizers as a tool to cleanse the energy of my space as well. Using selenite and shungite together in a pair is a potent combination to balance and harmonize with their polarized and yet complimentary energies.
While not a crystal, Shungite is a mineral composed mostly of pure carbon and is the only known natural mineral to contain fullerenes, which are specific molecular formations of carbon that act as powerful, long-lasting antioxidants. Shungite is known to aid in the inhibiting of EMFs, or electromagnetic fields, that are the result of electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic fields are created by electronic devices which are all over our homes. Placing this stone at the base of a computer, microwave or around your various home electronic devices will not interfere with their operations, but will block out some of their free radial output. When placed near your devices, or on your body, the Shungite properties work to harmonize these harmful frequencies, protecting and shielding your spirit from their effects.
Clearly there are many ways to maintain your energetic hygiene but the key is to find a way that works for you and make the practice a habit! Clear your space and keep your vibration high!! ✨🤗
